I took the day off college since I’m not feeling the best and only had one lecture anyway, which is my most needless lecture too. I’m still not feeling 100% but the rest has done a lot. The extra time also gave me time to be productive in three different ways:
1. Novel
I’ve added 3,030 more words to the draft, hitting my extra goal for the day, so I’m extremely pleased with that!
2. Poetry
I wrote a poem that has been humming around my mind today and yesterday, and threw it up here.
I also made a start on my entry to a poetry competition. While most of it needs some serious re-working, the base idea is something I really like. So that’s got the wheel turning for that. It’s due in March 1st, so I needed to get started soon.
3. Valentine’s Present
Today I had the time to get everything ready for Valentine’s day, so all I need to do is actually give it to my girlfriend on the day. I’m going to be putting a picture up at the end of Thursday, to support my previous post about being both traditional and putting a spin on it.
So while I’m still feeling a bit off I’m going to sleep as a very happy camper.
